ELASTOMERS AND PLASTICS

NBR-NITRILE RUBBER-

It is a mostly preffered sealing raw material  in many application. The ACN(Acrylonitrile) content varies 18%-50% and effects the NBR elastomer's properties directly. The higher ACN content  is the better oil and fuel resistance and tensile strength, but reduces the low temperature flexibility and the compression set.

We use NBR compounds formulas with 30% and 45% ACN contents and that allows our standard NBR compounds to resist between -30°C and +100°C. This ratio can be increased to +120°C for short cycles.

SUITABLE MEDIUMS

-Aliphatic hydrocarbons.(Propane, butane, mineral oils)

-Vegetable oils and grease

-HFA-, HFB- and HFC- fluids

-Water (Special compounds up to +100°C)

UNSUITABLE MEDIUMS

-Aromatic hydrocarbons (Benzol)

-Polar solvents (Ketone, acetone, acetic acid)

-Strong acids

-Brake fluid with glycol base

-Ozone

FKM-FLUOROCARBON RUBBER-VITON

PTFE-POLYTETRAFLUORETHYLENE

It's a high temperature resistant plastic material (-200°C, +260°C). Known with 'Teflon' trade name. It has low friction feature, good mechanical and excellent chemical characteristics.

It is resistant to all medias except alkaline metals, fluorine and some fluorine compounds.

Mechanical properties and heat conductivity are variable with different fillings (bronze, carbon, glass fibre).

PA-POLYAMIDE

It is used as guiding material in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It can be filled with glass fiber for  better resistance. It can work between -30°C and +120°C.
